This year we are marking the 20th anniversary of our unique project. Due to the circumstances we cannot celebrate the occasion with proper festivity in Dubrovnik this year but will do our best (as the name obliges!) to bring back some fond memories to our followers, participants, past presenter and winners, partners etc. Starting from mid-March we will reflect upon the most significant developments, innovations and crossroads that made the Best in Heritage what it is today, and honour valued representations we had the pleasure of hosting over the last two decades. Join us in this celebration by following our Twitter and Facebook posts with hashtag #TBIH20th, but also feel free to contribute to the on-line memoir by sending your personal images, videos or textual recollections of conference edition(s) in Dubrovnik you took part in to us.

And now, back to the future! This year's programme is almost finalised and will be announced in April. At the beginning of May the 2021 video series will start, featuring video interviews with representatives of 42 award-winning museum, heritage and conservation projects. They come from 4 continents and have all already received national or international prizes in 2020. It will be very interesting to learn how they coped with the massive turbulences that keep shaking our societies to this day.
