TURNING ADVERSITY INTO ARRAY OF BENEFICIAL INSIGHTS

The present is delicate and the future will be increasingly challenging. Our approach is to stick to the initial vision. What we wanted and succeeded in is to deliver a relatively small, global, smooth, one-track conference showing the annual choice of the projects that won the most prestigious awards. Since the beginning our partners approved our strictly non-profit character enabling us to remain free and generous, especially to our online users.

We entered the Covid19 crisis with a good, stable reputation, with ICOM as the best possible main partner and EUROPA NOSTRA best representing the rest of the heritage sector and the host continent. We reinforced our structure by creating a Board of Stakeholders and assured wider support through the newly formed Board of Advisors. We wholeheartedly thank all the members that have served for years in our previous Advisory Board.

The Board of Advisors presents a wider list of influential and valuable friends of conference who are able to help us recognize and manage our potentials in the changing global circumstances.

The Board of Stakeholders has been set from the ex-official representatives of the parties that make the conference possible, from ICOM, our main partner, to invaluable partnership with Europa Nostra and other local and international partnerships.

In these years in which the entire heritage sector faces unprecedented challenges, we are convinced that it will answer them with innovation and courage. That's how our "Projects of Influence" come about. Here you can find the current list of awarded museum, heritage and conservation projects in 2020. A selection of these laureates will form our programme in 2021, primarily as an online series of video interviews. Our task is to amplify and reinforce the power of their extraordinary example and offer their experiences to be turned into wisdom for a better world.
